Phase 1 Project. Engineer shall be responsible to following, but not limited to:
(A) a Focal point support with the Japanese side and local team to establish plan for operation and maintenance works to the wind farm
1. Support to report to contact person of design/maintenance section, and establish necessary works and its schedule as per design/maintenance section instruction locally or remotely for realization at site related to operation and maintenance works.
2. When works are performed at site, support to report results to design/maintenance section locally or remotely.
(B) Support to deal with troubleshooting
1. Basically work at Changhua. Support to manage progress and control the workers performing the work.
2. Work at offshore is also sometimes required to support taking care of actual work control.
3. Support coordinating future work plans together with design/maintenance section locally or remotely.
4. Support managing daily work progress and report to relevant parties.
(C.) Support investigating the cause of the problem
1. Understand the technical data provided by existing systems/design/maintenance section locally or remotely including control logic of the wind turbine.(On the job training to be performed by specialist)
2. Support considering the cause of the problem from the local situation and propose countermeasures together with design/maintenance dept locally or remotely related to wind turbines.
(D) Monitoring/Reporting of WTG (Wind turbine generator)
1. Monitor the status of WTG and issue report to TPC dairy, monthly and yearly based on designated format. As this work is routine works, no special skills of WTG needed in the beginning.
2. Investigate each shutdown and re-assess the availability of WTG based on designated formula. (On the job training to be performed by specialist)
(E) General work condition
1. Able to work with allocated shifts i.e. sometimes holiday could be working days
2. No phobia against working at height in confined space, working offshore including vessel transportation in condition that sufficient safety equipment is provided
3. Good health conditions
4. Work with harmony under international working circumstances including communication with Taiwanese, actual experience of international works is considered as plus

Qualification:
1. Working experience as an Electrical engineer, an Equipment engineer, or a Maintenance engineer is preferred. Experience should include:
・Maintenance in extra high voltage facilities or industrial electrical machines
・Trouble shooting of industrial electrical machines/equipment
2. Standard knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other MS Office software.
3. Analyze massive data using software such as MS-Excel macro or some other tools. (any kind of program knowledge in basic level is acceptable.)
4. Programming ability of ST, C, SQL is considered as plus
5. Major Subject: Electrical, Mechanical engineering, or Physics
6. Languages: Fluent English and Chinese are major, Japanese is plus
