Researcher Analyst, VOC (Voice of Customer), Research & Insights, YARD

We're seeking a VOC Researcher to play a pivotal role in enhancing our understanding of our customers' voices.

You will collaborate with a multitude of stakeholders in a challenging environment to deliver key insights that will drive the next generation of our products. We are looking for a researcher/analyst with demonstrated expertise in quantitative data analytics and some experience in market research/consumer insights. The researcher will have effective problem-solving and communication skills and a common-sense approach. You’ll have responsibilities and opportunities to significantly impact product and business, as a partner to Yahoo product teams and decision-makers through pre-, mid-, and post-decision stages.
What you’ll be doing:
As part of our initiative to relocate the VOC analytics program to Taiwan, you will:
● Analyze customer feedback from diverse user feedback sources like UserVoice forums, app store reviews, ad feedback tools, surveys, social, etc.
● Utilize tools like Clarabridge and Member Pluse, to categorize feedback and perform sentiment and trend analyses.
● Interpret auto-generated findings and provide actionable reports to the product team, focusing on customer complaints, product issues, and trend patterns.
● Analyze the latest user feedback to Yahoo products, covering Yahoo News, Yahoo Homepage, Yahoo Finance, and Yahoo Sports.
● Produce weekly reports and share insights and actions with various products, analytics, and research teams.
● Socialize, collaborate, and present your findings to multiple teams and leaders across the organization
● Further support product enhancements, iterations, product issues fixing, and user satisfaction improvements.

Qualifications - What you will bring to the table:
● Independently manage the VOC program, liaising with the US-based product team.
● Fluent in English for effective communication with US teams.
● Data sensitivity, transforming data into findings and consumer insights.
● Experience in data analytics, consumer research, quantitative research, market trends analysis, or competitor analysis is highly beneficial.
● Prior experience in a related field, such as data analytics, consumer research, product decisions, or business intelligence, is a plus.
● Flexibility for early morning or late-night meetings with US partners, with adjustable working hours.
